They all claim to have loads of premium sports channels, but you may have noticed that they are vague when it comes to describing their actual contents. Some of the more popular sports programming channels you may already be familiar with, but when they claim to have up to thirty sports programming channels then the old adage applies that says if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn’t.

They have the channels, but the sports programming on many of them can be rather dismal. These are the channels where you are going to find the hot dog and pie eating contests along with the donkey races just to name some of the fantastic programming that they carry.

DirecTV is has the largest customer base of any TV programming service provider in the industry and they have been in business since nineteen-ninety-four. It goes on for twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week with great commentary and debate as well as fantastic game footage reviews.

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

If heaven forbid you were only able to have one premium sports channel this upcoming NFL football season, then NFL Sunday Ticket would have to be your choice for that one channel to have. It’s a truly unique sports programming channels that really should be labeled a super-premium sports programming channel, because what it contains is by far a cut above any sports channel has that is available from any other source. In the past, sports organizations such as the NFL left all the decision making and production work up to the broadcasters that they contracted with to showcase their games and special events, but NFL Sunday Ticket is unique in that it is produced entirely by the NFL its self.

This means only great things for their legions of football fans, because no one knows more about the game and what football fans crave than the people at the NFL that compile everything that you will find on this channel. Of course it contains all of their regular and preseason games, so you don’t have to search around for any of them, because they are all on this one channel but it doesn’t stop there. This is because they also feature the best in European Football League action as well and if you haven’t had a chance to check out what’s going on the other side of the pond yet, you may be in for a big surprise this season.

The NFL has been putting on more and more special events such as charity and celebrity events each season, so it can be difficult to keep track of them all but not with this channel, because it not only showcases all of them but it is the best place to stay informed about any and all upcoming special events that they NFL has scheduled during this upcoming football season. Another great thing about this unique sports programming channel that is devoted entirely to the game of pro football and that it goes on for twenty-four hours a day and they just keep the new material coming at you any time day or night whether there is a game scheduled or not, so the football action just never stops.

The reason it costs extra is because it’s not a cheap channel for DirecTV to carry exclusively and they have to pay the NFL to carry it. The NFL football season only comes around once a year and if you pass this programming channel up you may end up having some serious regrets if things go your way and your team breaks out and winds up in contention for the Super Bowl. When you consider all the fantastic football programming that this channel stocks, it truly is a great bargain and is a must have channel for football fans this upcomming NFL season.

Is The Sabbath Saturday Or Sunday?

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Saturday is the weekly day of rest and worship in Hebrew, which was observed on the seventh day of each week, which begins at sundown Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Now, the Hebrew Sabbath continued to be practiced by non-Jews, Christians, to this day. During the early centuries, Christians Jews also continued the practice of keeping the seventh day of the week as well together for worship on the first day of the week. But his influence on Christianity, although recognizable, for several centuries, especially in the east, have declined rapidly after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The testimony of the Ante-Nicene Fathers is that the vast majority of Christians, Saturday was a Jewish custom, which has been imposed on faithful Christians today. Today, as the Christian Sabbath focuses on the divine institution of the Sabbath, at the end of creation. The blessing of God and the sanctification of the seventh day, means that God has for one day a week is seen by all as a sacred day of rest and worship. The fourth commandment of the Decalogue, which refers to the primitive institution of the Sabbath is considered a moral commandment, and is a universal, permanent obligation. It is clear that the day of the week on Saturday not seen the essence of the law, but rather the conclusion of a day a week. However, there are two groups of people who argue the point that Saturday's practice notes on a particular day of the week. The view of the seventh day Sabbath is considered by the Seventh Day Baptists, which began in England in the 17th century, with the Seventh Day Adventists, who had their origins in the United States in the 19th century. These groups insist that Christians are obliged to keep the seventh day of the week as Saturday. To support their position, they tend to focus on the Old Testament, especially the Fourth Commandment, which says that the seventh day is the Sabbath, called by God to remember his creative work. Moreover, those who believe that the opinion of the seventh day of rest for evidence that base their observance of the seventh day in the New Testament. They turn to the practice of Jesus and the apostles to go to synagogue on the Sabbath (Luke 4:16, Acts 13:14, 42; 16:13; 17:1-2, 18:4). They appeal to the prophecy of Jesus on the destruction of Jerusalem and his exhortation to his disciples to pray that your flight be not on the Sabbath "(Matthew 24:20). They even say that Scripture in Revelation 1:10 a day, "Lord" refers to the seventh day Sabbath. It is widely believed that it was useless to pursue change through the observance of the celebration day of the seventh day in the New Testament because it is believed that during the first centuries of the Church, there was a great apostasy that had arrived at the festival pagan Sunday was replaced by the previous Saturday by "leaders not sanctioned by the Church" and the half-pagan emperor Constantine. The insistence of sight of the seventh day Sabbath, the character perfectly legal in the fourth commandment and its universal and perpetual obligation is based on statements that are not supported in the Bible. This view ignores the clear statements that the fourth commandment has been sent to the children of Israel that God had granted the land of Egypt. Moreover, the distinction is still made between "the law of God" and "law of Moses" is not sustained by the Word of God. Similarly, when trying to interpret what Jesus said and the Apostle Paul cites in defense of the continued control of the Sabbath, if pressed to its logical conclusion, proves too much. The word "law" as used by Jesus and the apostle Paul, is more than just the Ten Commandments. believers on the Sabbath the seventh day does not mean that all laws of the Mosaic law is intended to be practiced by Christians today. But I see that Paul has included command of the Sabbath, so that ended in Christ. For those who want to say that Constantine had nothing to do with changing the Sabbath on the seventh day on the first day of the week is no solid basis. Then, in relation to the Sabbath, according to the Law on the People of God of the Old Testament was to keep the Sabbath of the fourth commandment of the Decalogue, which was Saturday, and this day was a rest period, also to meet to worship god. As was the law, the death penalty for defilement (Exodus 35:1 - 3). Moreover, the Jews were forced to refrain from all forms of it lay on the Sabbath (Leviticus 23:3), and even their own pets and farm animals, also observed the Sabbath (Deuteronomy 5:14) . Other examples of what the Israelites had to observe the Sabbath was to be collected the manna (Exodus 16:22-26), or even light a fire for cooking (Exodus 35:3). Any violation of these provisions led to a being cut off from among his people! Then we have the New Testament in connection with the day dedicated to rest and worship God. After the ascension of Jesus, his disciples began the practice of meeting for worship on the first day of the week (Sunday), which became to be known as the "Day of the Lord" (Acts 20:7, I Cor . 16:2, Rev. 1:10). For a time, the Judeo-Christians who are still both on the seventh day and the first day of the week, but finally, when the pagans became the largest part of the celebration of the Church of Seventh-day has been forgotten. For the early church the Lord's Day was a time of joy and praise, because he remembers the day Jesus Christ rose from the grave, and that it is raising to a new life. Finally, in the day (Saturday or Sunday), we remain as their day of rest is between them and God. However, we are not under the law requiring observe a special day for our day of rest, or fear of consequences for not doing so. As for me, personally, I have a day off from my day in my world, and today is my time I spend in church, the Lord's day to worship my Lord, who has risen from the dead d not in the grave! And today I see is my be-Sun.
